This first year of gardening has been so much fun! Even though I’ve only gotten four cayenne peppers, I’ve learned so much. Naturally I’ve been pinning a ton of gardening pictures. I especially like the lights on #5. We actually just cut down some big tree branches, so I might have to steal that idea.
Neutral homes have a special place in my heart. I’ve always decorated this way. When picking swatches or furniture, I try to select safe colors and that tends to be tans and grays. But over time, I’ve fallen in love with the openness light decor provides. Plus it leaves room for pops of colors throughout my home.
Lately jewel tones have been catching my eye. Particularly purple, teal, and fuchsia. Homes built between the midcentury and 1970s have such great lines and these colors paired with that architecture creates a fresh look.
I always find it fun to scroll back through my recent pins on Pinterest. It’s funny to see the contrast in what I’ve pinned. I’m definitely one of those people who hops on Pinterest the minute I have an idea for my home and start pinning that topic like crazy. My most recent trends have included airy, eclectic rooms with pretty potted plants and trends from the 1970s that I’d love to incorporate into my home. There’s just something about that era. I love it!
